Conference Registration Rates:
Conference registration cost covers attending all talks, keynote, refreshments/lunch, a conference proceedings CD and social event. At the time of registration, ticket for the special dinner cruise can be purchased for 60 € for Nanoarch attendees. In addition, extra tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased for 90 €.

Please note: In order to guarantee inclusion in the conference program, one author of each accepted paper must be registered at full (non-student) rate for Regular Papers by the registration deadline. For Concept Papers, registration at student rate is allowed if the paper is presented by a student author. Please note that each paper requires a separate registration.

Social Event on July 9, 2014:

Guided Walking Tour -9th July (afternoon)
A professional guide will walk with you for 3 hours to discover the heart of medieval Paris.

Two possible walks are available:

1) The Marais district

In the heart of the Marais district and its prestigious private mansions hide vestiges from older times.

This walking tour will allow us to discover them in this beautiful protected area.

Planned Itinerary

  1. Departure from metro station: “Sully Morland”.
  2. Ile Saint Louis.
  3. Ile de la Cité.
  4. Place des Vosges.
  5. Quartier Saint Paul.

2) Voyage to the heart of Paris

Starting from Ile St Louis, we will walk up the slope of the Sainte Genevieve hill in the heart of the Latin quarter. Surrounded by city walls, the area boasted many colleges that dotted the northern slope of the hill. We will discover some of the nicest testimonies of that remote past.
Planned Itinerary

  1. Departure from metro station “Sully Morland”.
  2. Ile Saint Louis.
  3. Ile de la Cité.
  4. Quartier latin and montagne Sainte Geneviève.

Important to know:

  • What to bring: Comfortable shoes and water bottle.
  • Meet Location : Metro station “ Sully Morland” at 1:45 PM.
  • Itinerary from “Cite Universitaire station”: Take tramway from "Cite Universitaire", direction  "Porte de Vincennes" up to "Porte de Choisy". Take then metro line  "M7"  direction  "La Courneuve-8-Mai-1945"  up to  "Sully-Morland" .

Dinner Cruise on the Seine-9th July (evening)

We are pleased to announce that the social event for Nanoarch 2014 will be a dinner cruise on the river Seine. During this cruise you will discover another view of Paris city with its historical monuments and bridges.
